Manchester United really haven’t been chasing new signings all that forcefully this January, which is quite disappointing considering the current position in the league. However the club have been looking at potential youngsters who they can bring in, and one man has had his say on United’s interest.
Tahith Chong, a 17-year old winger who currently plays for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie.
“It’s true that Man Utd are interested in me but I want to just stay at Feyenoord.” Chong said.
Honestly, I don’t blame him. Why on earth would anyone want to come in and play for this dull Manchester United side at this point in time? Particularly when he is playing regular football back in his homeland.
I don’t know an awful lot about Tahith Chong, except that he is a winger with plenty of pace and is capable of playing on both flanks.
At this point in time, I’d prefer it if Manchester United were chasing proven quality rather than talents, because we all know how tough the transition from Holland to England is; Just look at Memphis Depay.
