Manchester United are on their way to China to continue to build up fitness ahead of the season. Now, Jose Mourinho will be hoping to implement his ideas on the current squad, whilst clearing some of the dead wood.
It’s clear that the Portuguese has already eyed a few players he’ll like to sell on, and today, the Daily Telegraph reported three faces who could be on their way out.
First up we have Tyler Blackett. The young defender struggled during his time at Celtic last season, and hasn’t gone on tour with the rest of the team. It looks as though Jose already has plenty of centre-backs in mind ahead of the Mancunian.
Secondly, we have James Wilson. The striker is another one who hasn’t been named on tour – and it feels like we’ve seen the last of another promising starlet.
The final man on the list is William Keane, and although he has gone on tour, Mourinho is seemingly keener on Marcus Rashford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial. Despite all his talents, Keane’s career has been plagued by injury – and now he is looking like getting a hammer blow from our new coach.
