Earlier today, Manchester United fans were dealt a huge blow when several reputable media sources claimed that any deal to bring Toni Kroos to Old Trafford look to be dead. Apparently, the 24-year old isn’t in Van Gaal’s plans and the Dutchman doesn’t want to bring him to the club.
Respected journalist Graham Hunter has suggested that Guardiola is a huge fan of Toni Kroos’, and wanted him to stay in Bavaria that badly that he offered Bastian Schweinsteiger to United instead.
This shows just how highly regarded Toni Kroos is, and what a steal he would’ve been for Manchester United football club. Whether the fact that Louis van Gaal isn’t interested in Kroos is the real reason why United have ‘ended their invest’ I’m not so sure. Personally I reckon the hierarchy have been told that Kroos won’t be leaving Bayern Munich, and are now backtracking.
#Pep really likes #Kroos as a player but thinks #Scweini slows circulation of possession – thus #United were offered Schweini instead

Schweinsteiger is now 29, and clearly isn’t getting any younger, I’d still take him at United in a heartbeat. He’s far superior to anything we already have in our midfield, but it looks as though he’s another player United just simply don’t like the look of.

Bullshit
A week in and I’m already tired of all these bullshit rumours. Why would we agree a deal for Kroos, for the manager to say we don’t want him? Yet United have apparently had our manager set for a while. Like he’d only just speak up about not wanting him.
