Manchester United will complete the signing of veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic before Euro 2016 gets underway. That’s according to Sky Sources, who say that Ibrahimovic will be the only striker that Jose Mourinho brings in during this window.
The English media outlet believe that talks between Edward Woodward and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s representatives are already well underway, as they edge closer to agreeing a one-year deal for the influential Swede.
Sweden’s first game of the European Championships takes place on June 13th, so that leaves nine days for this transfer to happen and be finalised, so Edward Woodward will have to act quick.
What a signing it would be. Manchester United need that on-field leader, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic starting as the main striker at Old Trafford would be incredible to witness.
It is thought that Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Marcus Rashford, and that’s why he only wants to bring in one striker this summer.
