Manchester United’s planning for the summer transfer window will have been underway as soon as the mid-season transfer period had ended. You’d imagine this coming summer will be a hectic one for the club, whoever the manager may be.
Its about that time of the season where the Old Trafford hierarchy will be putting their feelers around, and trying to work out how much money clubs want for their prized assets, and according to A Bola, United have already sussed out SL Benfica in regards to the signature of Renato Sanches.
The Portuguese media outlet say that Benfica are after somewhere around the €60million mark for Sanches; an 18-year old attacking midfield wonder-kid. Whom United are willing to offer €50million for.
Competition to land Sanches is bound to be fierce as and when the transfer window officially opens, but the amount of money being mentioned for a teenager seems massively overpriced, and if United do make their move for him it would be a huge risk.
