Manchester United willing to offload Shinji Kagawa

Shinji Kagawa’s Manchester United future looks to be in the balance, as Louis van Gaal prepares to offload a few players before bringing in new faces to the Manchester United squad. The Japanese international is yet to hit the dizzy heights he managed at Borussia Dortmund, and Van Gaal looks set to cash in.

The playmaker hasn’t really got going in his two years at Manchester United, and with the arrival of Juan Mata, and the emergence of Adnan Januzaj, the 25-year old could be on his way out of Old Trafford, according to The Independent.

A Borussia Dortmund return looks like the most obvious destination for Kagawa, and if you believe reports then the German side would certainly be interested in bringing him back.

No fee has been mentioned yet, but you’d imagine United would ask for somewhere around the £12million mark for Kagawa – which is the fee United paid to bring him to Manchester. We all know that he’ll probably go back to being a world class player if he does leave Old Trafford, and the ability is certainly there.

Its a shame it hasn’t quite worked out for Shinji, but its probably in the best interests of all parties if he were to be moved on this summer.
