Manchester United Football Club clearly have money in abundance to bring in world class players, and Louis van Gaal and the Old Trafford hierarchy are ready to sanction the money for one of the biggest transfer dealings in the history of the world.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Edward Woodward has offered FC Barcelona the €190million release clause that is currently in Neymar Jr’s current contract at the Camp Nou.
However, Neymar himself and his entourage of advisors aren’t willing to listen to any offers, as the 23-year old is enjoying life in Catalonia at the moment.
There is no doubting that Neymar would be a world class signing, but over the last few years it seems as though Manchester United have spent too much time chasing after unobtainable targets, and the Brazilian is probably the latest in a long line of time wasting.
