Manchester United take on Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League tomorrow, with Jose Mourinho hoping his side can get back to winning ways following a disappointing 1-0 loss in this competition a fortnight ago. Three points here is an absolute must if we have any aspirations of topping the group.
Our cause hasn’t been helped down to injuries, and Jose gave us an update of that situation ahead of the visit of the Ukrainian cup winners, and it’s not good news for one man in particular.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to training, but sadly he won’t be available to play in the game according to the gaffer. The Armenian was pictured working out with his teammates this afternoon, but clearly isn’t fit enough to play at Old Trafford tomorrow evening.
Perhaps a more realistic return date for the 27-year-old is Stoke City at home this coming Sunday. The sooner he gets back involved the better, as he hasn’t featured since the Manchester derby where he had an absolute shocker.
