Manchester United Football Club are having a rough time of things at the moment, with Jose’s side struggling to string any sort of winning streak together. That must change going forward, and that could start with a culling and a massive overhaul of the playing squad.
One man who looks destined for an exit is starlet Memphis Depay. The 22-year-old came to the club fresh off the back of a simply stunning season for PSV Eindhoven, but sadly he hasn’t displayed that here.
That all came to a head on Thursday night when he didn’t travel with the team for their game against Fenerbahce, and obviously the rumours grew. Now, The Guardian say Jose is ready to let Depay depart the club in the winter transfer window.
It will be a real shame to see Memphis Depay leave Old Trafford, and it is frustrating because he is obviously immensely talented. Let’s hope that it is a loan move for the Dutchman rather than a permanent one, because that still offers him a way back into things at Manchester United.
