Manchester United’s fans could be about to get their wish. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is due to make his debut for this great club on Saturday, and in his home country nonetheless. The 34-year-old has now linked up with his United teammates, and preparation for the new season has begun.
According to the Daily Mirror, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will make his Manchester United bow against Galatasaray this coming weekend.
The influential Swede will certainly be raring to go, and he’ll no doubt be feeling fresh after being given an extended five-week break to get himself ready for his first season in the red of Manchester United Football Club.
Despite his age, big things are expected of Ibrahimovic, who managed to find the back of the net fifty times across all competitions last season – including some goals against Premier League sides, Chelsea and Manchester City.
He is a man who looks after his body and is rarely injured, so this will definitely be in his favour when the rigour of the league gets underway next month.
