Manchester United have seen their bid for Martin Odegaard rejected by Stromgodset, according to the Daily Star. Odegaard, who is just fifteen years old, is thought to be one of the hottest talents in world football, with a whole host of stellar clubs trying to snap him up as soon as possible.
Personally I don’t know enough about Odegaard to tell you the ins and outs of his game and playing style, all I know is that all the big clubs are after him – and they must have good reason to be chasing down a 15-year old.
To see a United bid rejected for the youngster is disappointing, but whether or not thats down to the fact that Stromgodset are holding out for me remains to be seen. Its probably the case, and the Norwegian side will certainly be hoping for a bidding war to commence in the January transfer window, if not next summer.
