Manuel Ugarte sucessfully passes Man United medical ahead of announcement today

Manuel Ugarte has completed his Man United medical, with the midfielder possibly announced as the Red Devils’ latest signing today.

Manchester United Football Club have been working hard behind the scenes to strengthen the playing squad for Erik ten Hag this summer. It’s easier said than done, particularly when working with a limited budget.

However, INEOS have done well. Four signings have been delivered so far. A fifth now appears to be imminent.

Florian Plettenberg has today provided a vital update in the Reds’ chase of Manuel Ugarte.

According to his latest information, Ugarte has completed his United medical, with an announcement from the club likely to come today.

United are now closing in on the addition of their new midfielder, with the 23-year-old set to become the latest recruit at Old Trafford.

Finally, Casemiro will have some quality help, with Ugarte set to instantly challenge for regular starts in that area of the field.

You’d imagine the Liverpool game this weekend comes too soon for Ugarte, so in all likelihood, we’ll have to wait until after the international break to see him in action.
