The Red Devils and youth walk hand-in-hand. Now, it seems like a Marc Jurado move, from FC Barcelona to Man United, is imminent…
Back in May, we covered a story from Spanish media outlet Sport. They claimed that Jurado had signed for Manchester United, leaving the Camp Nou for Old Trafford.
Well, fast-forward a few months and the young defender is now heading for his new home.
Jurado took to his Instagram page, thanks to the MEN for doing the digging, showing us a snap of himself at the airport.
Yep, that’s right, the talented defender is flying to Manchester, presumably to finalise his Red Devils switch. He also added the caption ‘a new dream is coming’.

The MEN state that a deal could be finalised in the ‘coming weeks’, with United waiting on international clearance for Jurado. However, United have ‘no worries’ the process will be completed soon.
With COVID-19 still an issue, Jurado will move into accommodation arranged by United, though he’ll have to quarantine for two weeks before being allowed to train with his new teammates.
Again, this is an excellent example of United scooping up the best young players football has to offer. We’re adding Jurado to an extremely talented young core for the future – and I can’t wait to see him in action.
After leaving Barca following the rejection of a three-year contract offer, Old Trafford is now his home. Sure, it’ll be a couple of seasons before we see him pushing for a first-team place, though we have every reason to be excited.
Hopefully, a deal for Jurado can be officially announced soon, and he can slot right in to the U18s or possibly the U23s side. No doubt it’ll take him a few months to get settled before we see his true potential.
