Manchester United have issues aplenty to fix at the moment – both on and off the field.
Ole Gunnar Solskajer certainly has his hands full, though things will probably get worse before they get better…
Although the defence has actually been more solid this term, Marcos Rojo’s form is seemingly remaining as patchy as ever – the latest poor display comes on international duty.
The Argentine played for his country during their 2-2 draw with Germany – though he made a monumental error, which gifted the opponents a goal.
For that mistake, Rojo was slammed by local media outlet Ole, translated by Sport Witness, while the paper handed him a 3/10 rating for the performance.
Rojo will always be Rojo. Hot-headed, over-aggressive and careless. This time, it was his poor decision-making which led to the German goal with Ole labelling it a ‘fatal mistake’.
Don’t be surprised to see Rojo now sit out a game or two and head to the bench for Argentina – something he’s familiar with from his time at United over the last year or so.
Honestly, I’m shocked that the 29-year-old is still playing regularly for a country of Argentina’s stature given his lack of playing time at domestic level…
