Man United have another injury concern. This time, it’s Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United were an absolute shambles against Coventry City yesterday. There’s no getting away from that pure fact. Embarrassment was narrowly avoided, though you could see how ashamed the players were at full-time.
The game itself was truly one of two halves. United were in complete control, though in typical fashion, the Reds gave away a 3-0 lead, allowing Coventry City to take it to extra time and almost win it, but for the narrowest of margins…
Erik ten Hag can use injuries as an excuse for some games, but not this one. United should be winning that game with relative ease – whatever side is deployed.
After the match, United were seemingly dealt another injury problem, with key star, Marcus Rashford, spotted limping his way out of Wembley. Credit to journalist Nathan Salt for the video.

It just sums up the season at this point. United have contended with 60+ injury issues since the start of the campaign. No other club comes close to that number.
With a quick turnaround time in between games, I’d be surprised if we see Rashy involved in midweek. To be honest, the rest may do him some good, particularly as he hasn’t really been performing to his usual levels this season.
Amad is waiting in the wings. It could be smart to throw the Ivory Coast man into the starting line-up and see what he’s made of.
