Manchester United have done it! They’ve reached the FA Cup final for the second time in three seasons, with an excellent opportunity to further add to the trophy cabinet under Jose Mourinho.
The game itself was an exciting affair from the get-go. Both teams’ attacking intentions were clear, but at full-time, it was the Red Devils who were left celebrating.
Marcus Rashford would have been bitterly disappointed to have remained a substitute for the affair, but the man from Wythenshawe did take to the field – using his excellent pace to help kill the game off – and book United’s place back at Wembley Stadium next month.
Shortly after the encounter, Rashford took to Twitter to express his delight at making it to his third domestic final at such a young age, and it’s just superb to see him having this attitude.
Sometimes I have to pinch myself and realise am still only 20, 3rd domestic final ?⚪️⚫️

He’s an immensely gifted individual with the footballing world at his feet. We’re lucky to call him one of our own, and the fact that he’s remaining so humble and grounded is just brilliant.
As he points out, he’s 20 and already has major pieces of silverware under his belt. I cannot wait to see this lad lift the Premier League trophy one day…
