Manchester United Football Club have had a poor November. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad haven’t looked anywhere near as good as you’d have hoped – with the pressure building on the Reds boss.
However, there has been one constant; good performances from Marcus Rashford. The Wythenshawe-born-forward has been proudly flying the flag for the 20-time Premier League champions, scoring goals aplenty throughout November.
For his efforts, Rashford was named United Player of the Month, and shortly after, the young forward took to Twitter to send a quick message to the fans.
Rashford scored three goals in four appearances throughout November, while looking like the only real driving force in an inconsistent attacking line.
His tally of eleven strikes for the season does put him on course to hit the 20+ goal mark for the first time in his young career – which is something us United fans have been clamouring to see ever since his breakthrough.
Honestly, there was never going to be anyone else winning the award for November. Rashford definitely deserves the credit that’s heading his way and it’s nice to see a homegrown product trying to take control of the dire situation that United find themselves in.
Rashford has started December in similar fashion, scoring against Aston Villa during the 2-2 draw. Hopefully, this run can continue.
Congratulations, Marcus!
