Manchester United Football Club have made great progress with a certain Englishman this season, both on and off the field. Today, Marcus Rashford has been named the PFA Community Champion award winner.
The work Rashford has been doing for the local communities is nothing short of spectacular. For a man so young to want to give so much back is just so inspiring for all involved.
Marcus Rashford has been named PFA Community Champion for his ongoing support of the MU Foundation, while the work he’s doing further afield is even making 10 Downing Street take note…
Anyway, United confirmed that Rashford had won the award via their official Twitter page today, while posting a photo of Rashford all-smiles. He certainly should be super-proud.
I’m running out of superlatives to describe this man. He’s doing so many people proud at the moment, all-while having his best-ever season at Manchester United Football Club. His teammates seem to like him as well.
Now, attentions turn to the Europa League. Rashford was allowed to sit out the second leg against LASK Linz, but I’d imagine we’ll see him in the team against Copenhagen on Monday night.
Hopefully, he’s enjoyed his rest and ready to go. It would be a super way to end the season if we can make it to the final and eventually lift the trophy – ahead of making our Champions League return next season.
Rashford will be a key part of our starting line-up for the years to come, while I hope he continues to be an inspiration off the field, too.
Kids these days need someone to look up to. There’s no greater role model within our beautiful game than Rashford at the moment and long may that continue.
The best part about it? He’s one of our own.
Congratulations again, Marcus! You’re a true credit to Manchester United Football Club.
