Marcus Rashford sends inspirational message to fans following injury news

Manchester United Football Club are going to be without Marcus Rashford until at least mid-March with a double stress fracture in his back.

Yes, that does sound extremely painful… for both him and us. The superstar 22-year-old had been in brilliant form this season, already posting his best ever goals tally, though now his campaign has been cut drastically short.

After rehab and time to recover, I’d be surprised if we see Rashford back in action before April. That said, all going well, he should be back for the business end of the campaign – providing we’re still in the hunt for trophies and a top-four spot of course…

Anyway, true to form, this morning, Rashford took to social media to post an inspirational message to the fans following the devastating injury news:

It’s sometimes easy to forget that Rashford is a fan just like us. He loves this club with all his heart and to hear that he’ll still be heavily involved is just brilliant.

The young man is a tough cookie and although we want him back out there as quickly as possible, it’s important that United don’t rush him back and make the issue worse.

With all that said, Paul Pogba could definitely learn a lot from Rashford. You can bet your bottom dollar they’ll be no playing basketball in Miami from our Wythenshawe-born-forward, that’s for sure…

Get well soon, Marcus!
