Manchester United Football Club took a massive decision to sack Louis van Gaal over the summer, despite an FA Cup win. Narrowly missing out on the top four seemed to be the nail in the coffin for the Iron Tulip, and the board opted to bring in the tried and tested in Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach comes to Manchester United with a wealth of experience and trophies aplenty under his belt. Marcus Rashford found himself out of the team during the first few games of Jose’s tenure but has played his way into the team.
Today, the 18-year-olf forward told Soccer AM that Mourinho is a better manager for him in the sense of him growing as a player, as he feels he’ll make him more complete.
“Van Gaal’s sessions are directly related to the games, whereas Mourinho is more about making players complete players.” Rashford told Soccer AM.
It really is wonderful watching a home-grown product really show just how good he is on the highest level, and my Marcus Rashford is doing that brilliantly at the moment.
