Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini has been one of our better performance since his return to the first-team fold, but yesterday our big Belgian was at the heart of a spot of controversy. The media are claiming that Fellaini spat on Aguero whilst the City man was on the ground – but thats simply not true.
As you can see from the video that is doing the rounds, Fellaini is shouting at Aguero for going to ground easily, and some saliva does indeed fall out of his mouth onto Aguero. There is no way on earth that its an attempt to spit at the Argentine, it was a pure accident.
The FA have confirmed that they will not be taking action on Marouane Fellaini, but some parts of the press are adamant that Fellaini did mean to do it.
