Marouane Fellaini will fight for his Manchester United future

Belgian international midfielder Marouane Fellaini wants to fight for his Manchester United career. The 26-year old, isn’t believed to be high on Louis van Gaal’s list of players he’d like to keep, and if the right offer came in for the ex-Everton man then he could be out of the Old Trafford exit doors after just one season.

He struggled badly throughout the campaign, and failed to impose his tough style in any Manchester United match. I expected him to become the midfield enforcer we’ve been desperately craving, but he just let his marker run past him more often than not. Maybe he was just overawed by joining a club like United.

We’d do well to recoup anything more than £10million for Fellaini based on last seasons performances, and I firmly believe we should just cut our losses on the Belgian while we can – thats if there are any interested parties whatsoever.

Fellaini has returned to Manchester, after his native Belgium bowed out of the World Cup.

  1. if it’s just 10 or 12 million we are getting back,,,then might as well take a gamble and keep him,,,,coz under van gaal,he can make ordinary players look solid,,just look at martins indi and that aton villa defender playin for holland,,,if we are to sell players and make a profit,,,then we should think about selling rooney for 45 or 50 mill to chelsea and januzaj to whomever for a bit more,,coz he wont be getting a lot of game time if we do buy a few wingers anyway,,,and we can just buy him back 4 years from now for cheap when his game has developed more,,,selling nani, ando, clecerly, marruoan ,young and rafael now would represent a huge loss for our club,,,i think its better to sell next years or jan,,when the market prices will favour us more,,,under moiyes,,no one looked world class and looked more like bottom dwellers,,but van gaal is a diffrent picture all together,,if we must sell,,,then let it be fletcher, rooney, carrick, chichi, and evra,,coz then the only daed wood we’ll have is just van persie,,,but he’s a gamble im willing to take coz he score’s gaols,,,but rooney is over rated,,swell him first and formost,,

  2. if you expect to buy players for 30 odd million each,,,then we should not be selling our players for 7 or 10 million,,,it makes no buissness sense to do so,,,it’s not going to hurt our pockets to just keep them for another year under van gaal and see if their market prices go up again after some good preformances,,,coz with that small change that other clubs are offering for our players to make them stronger,,,we might as well keep them and make them weak..

  3. I reckon he should be sold for his own sake, unfortunately will never fit into the United way of playing and his confidence is taking a knock he needs to move to save his career, Maybe Bundasliga will suit him.
