Marouane Fellaini’s bizarre comments about Angel di Maria’s future

Manchester United’s squad are all enjoying their summer break away from the sport now, but that doesn’t stop the media inevitably sniffing around and trying to get a few words out of our players. Today, Marouane Fellaini has said some bizarre comments regarding Angel di Maria’s future.

“Angel Di Maria would be a good recruit for PSG. It is a world class player.” Fellaini told the French media outlet Telefoot.

Now if these quotes are true, its just stupid from Fellaini. How hard can it be to fashion up some sort of logical response even if he was asked the question. Its just bizarre.

The cynical amongst us might go as far as saying that Marouane Fellaini is looking after his own spot in the side, but personally I think this is a moment of pure madness from the Belgian.

Angel di Maria shown United exactly what he is capable of in the first half of the season, so let him get a good pre-season under his belt and hit the ground running as we start a new campaign. Selling him now would be extremely premature.

Should United keep Di Maria? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

  1. If I can help (I’m french), I just watched this “interview”, and the context of the question was “Does DiMaria is a great player ?”
1 step : Does Di Maria is good ?
anwser : Yes, he could play anywhere
    2 step : And at PSG ?
    anwser : Yes, also

But more important, he’s what DiMaria said in last November about PSG :
    – He didn’t go to PSG because money
    – French league is great, lot of players would like to go to
    – I would be good experience to go to Paris

I think it’s clear he want to go to PSG, I think he really don’t want to stay @manutd

I think he’s not for @manutd. Not for Premier League. HE can goes
