After a week of internationals, Manchester United’s campaign continues against Harry Redknapp’s QPR. United are still searching for their first win but could see the debuts of Radamel Falcao, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Daley Blind. It could also be a home debut for Di Maria, which has to be a huge boost for the squad.
Rio Ferdinand will return to Old Trafford for the first time after making his summer transfer to QPR.
United have had problems all over the pitch whether it’s injuries or just poor quality of players. However, I think it’s fair to say that most of these problems have been addressed during the transfer window. The only area that still probably needs to be looked at is our a defence. If a three at the back formation is going to be used for the season then another centre back should have been bought and in my opinion we missed a big signing in Mehdi Benatia.
QPR started the season poorly with 3 straight defeats against Hull City, Spurs and Burton Albion. Rio Ferdinand was heavily criticised after the game at White Hart Lane due to really poor defending leaving them getting trounced 4-0. However QPR bounced back with a 1-0 win over Sunderland leaving them a point ahead of United but it’s early days!

Last Meeting:
QPR 0-2 Manchester United
A Rafael screamer and a tidy finish from Ryan Giggs saw United open a 15 point lead in the title race before March. They would obviously go on to win the title with ease.

Score Prediction
Manchester United 3-0 QPR
United are due to hammer a team and if not they are due to beat a team and with all the potential debuts, United’s hopes have to be high and also there will be a lot players playing for their place from now on.
