Match Preview: Manchester United vs Chelsea FC

Manchester United and Chelsea has been one of the biggest fixtures in recent Premier League campaigns, and todays game against the Stamford Bridge side is certain to be no different. Mourinho vs Van Gaal is another clash that many are looking forward to, and one that will be without doubt a battle of the master against his apprentice.

Chelsea are unbeaten so far this season, and it’ll obviously be an extremely tough match. They can be got at though, and with the attacking prowess we have at our disposal, we should be able to create a number of goalscoring opportunities over the 90 minutes.

The problem for Manchester United will be at the other end of the pitch, with defensive problems still persisting in their last game saw West Brom score two goals which gave them a point.

Injury news

Manchester United have struggled on the injury front all season-long so far, but things seemed to have eased up slightly with Jesse Lingard the only absentee from training. However, Radamel Falcao is a big doubt for the game after suffering a kick in training on Friday.

Last meeting: Chelsea 3-1 United

Samuel Eto’o scored a hat-trick the last time these two sides met back in January. A lot has changed since then, and Chelsea will have to deal with the threat of new signings Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera and if fit, Radamel Falcao.

Score Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea

I reckon we’ll pull this one out of the bag. We’ve been decent at Old Trafford [Swansea aside] this season so far, and if the crowd get behind the lads, then we can certainly win this game.
