Manchester United return to Premier League action this Sunday, with Jose Mourinho’s men hosting an in-form Everton side, who look brilliant under Marco Silva.
Kick-off time: 16:00 BST
Referee: Jon Moss
Stadium: Old Trafford
Last time out in the Champions League, the Red Devils looked rather poor, albeit against an excellent Juventus side who may well be amongst the front-runners to win the whole tournament.
Ironically, it has been United’s home form that has been the basis of the struggles. A poor defeat to Tottenham Hotspur started it, while a dull 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers didn’t help the situation either. Now, the Old Trafford faithful will be hoping to roar their lads back in the right direction.
Team News
Jesse Lingard is back in training, as is Scott McTominay. Both could return to the squad if Mourinho sees fit. However, they’ll be no Diogo Dalot, Ander Herrera or Alexis Sanchez. The trio are still nursing injury issues and the manager refused to put a time-frame on when they’ll be back ready and available.
Match Betting
Manchester United are favourites for the clash, with home advantage playing a huge role in the market. Bet on the home side to win with 138.com at 3/4.
Like most Red Devils games recently, they come with goals aplenty (at both ends). With that in mind, you have to fancy the BTTS market. Bet on BTTS with 138.com at 3/4.
Finally, Anthony Martial has been in brilliant form. The Frenchman will continue to start in Sanchez’s absence, and he certainly looks like our best chance at finding the back of the et. Bet on Martial to score first with 138.com at 11/2.
Score Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Everton.
