Manchester United head down South armed with Cantona masks and a hopefully reinvigorated Wayne Rooney after he penned his new five-year deal yesterday. Tony Pulis’ side will be a tricky test though, as they’ve also been boosted by the signings of Tom Ince and Joe Ledley who both scored on debut.
David Moyes is yet to find a way of fitting Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Adnan Januzaj and Robin van Persie in the same team, but i’m hoping that changes today. I’d also like to see Marouane Fellaini given a chance because I feel many United fans wrote him off far too quickly last time.
KO: 17:30 BST
Venue: Selhurst Park
Date: 22nd February 2014
Winger Nani is almost certain to miss out due to an ongoing hamstring problem, whereas Jonny Evans is a doubt with a calf problem that has kept him out of the last couple of games. They’ll be late fitness tests for Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck, who were suffering from shin and knee injuries respectively. Rafael is likely to return after suffering concussion against Arsenal.
Palace on the other hand only have one injury concern, winger Jerome Thomas is facing a late fitness test on a back problem. Apart from that Pulis has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

This is a game that we need to win, but it’ll be much tricker than people think. Pulis’ side are very well organised and they’ll be looking to make it difficult for us.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 United
I fancy Wayne Rooney to score on the back of his new contract, and hopefully Robin van Persie will continue his scoring streak.
