After crashing out of the FA Cup with a defeat to today’s visitors, Manchester United will be looking to put things right and give the fans something to shout about. Old Trafford must get behind David Moyes and his side tonight, and roar the lads to a much-needed three points under the floodlights in Manchester.
David Moyes will certainly be feeling the pressure at the moment, but I still firmly believe he is the man for the job, he just needs time.
KO: 17:30 BST
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: 11th January 2014
Both sides go into this one with at least eight first team players on the injury list. Firstly for Manchester United, Marouane Fellaini is missing due to a back and wrist problems, Rio Ferdinand suffered an injury in this fixture last week, and he’s out for another two weeks yet. Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney are both still missing due to hip and groin injuries respectively, and wingers Nani and Ashley Young are both still sidelined. There are also minor doubts about Jonny Evans and Phil Jones, with the former set to undergo a late fitness test.
Swansea will be without a whole host of first-team regulars too, but the depth their squad has means that the game will still be very tricky. Nathan Dyer and Michu are both missing with foot problems, whereas Michel Vorm and Garry Monk both have knee injuries. They’ll also be without Jonathan De Guzman, Roland Lamah and Pablo Hernandez.

I keep writing this every week, but Manchester United must get back to winning ways. The teams above us don’t look like dropping points anytime soon, and we need to keep up with them if we want any chance of finishing in the top four this season.
Score prediction: United 2-1 Swansea
