Match Preview: Wolves vs Man United – Team News, Odds, Prediction

Manchester United returned to winning ways last time out, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer kicked off his permanent reign as manager with a massive three points.

Next up, though, is an extremely tricky fixture. The Red Devils head to Wolverhampton Wanderers, who bested us in the FA Cup quarter-final just a few short weeks ago.

With revenge on the mind, and a potential Champions League spot at stake, it’s vital that we head to the Midlands with a newfound belief, confidence and desire to win.

Team News

Solskjaer has been helped in this regard. Victor Lindelof is back in a good place mentally and ready to perform. Romelu Lukaku is also ready to start, while it seems as though both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have shaken off knocks to be deemed fit to go.

This is as full of a squad we’ve had for a while and it’s up to Solskjaer to ensure he gets it right tactically, while also keeping one eye on the future.

Betting Odds

Wolves @ 3/1

Draw @ 12/5

United @ 19/20

Those are incredibly long odds if you fancy another Wolves upset. They’re playing some wonderful stuff under Nuno Espirito Santo and I genuinely wouldn’t bet against them here. I do think United will play better than their last visit to Molineux but I’m still not sure it’s going to be enough.

Match Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Manchester United.

I don’t think it’s a horrendously bad point to get. I’d probably take a draw if you offered it to me right now but this game could go either way one goal or another.

Strap yourselves in as I think we’re in for another nail-biter.
