Michael Olise would be interested in a transfer to Man United this summer.
Manchester United need to invest in the playing squad when the transfer window opens. Before that, though, players will likely have to be sold in order to generate some extra cash for the manager to spend.
There’s no doubt a right-sided attacker is among the list of needs for Erik ten Hag. United have been given no consistency in that area of the field whatsoever, with Antony struggling and Alejandro Garnacho infinitely better on the left.
It would make sense for the Red Devils to splash the cash and add a marquee player to their attack in that position. Michael Olise is one of the names who have been linked with filling that void in recent weeks and months.
Now, 90min.com have provided an update on that front. They go pretty big. In their headline, it’s stated that the 22-year-old Premier League attacker would be ‘keen’ on a Man United transfer this summer.
The Crystal Palace winger is ‘open’ to an Old Trafford switch, assuming that the Red Devils will firm up their interest with an official bid.
With Anthony Martial all set to leave and the aforementioned right-wing issues in the squad, this deal could make sense, albeit Olise would not come cheaply.
Crystal Palace have no reason to part with their star winger, as he has been one of their key players despite the fact that Olise himself has had his own injury problems to contend with. The player also only signed a new contract last year.
Olise would provide some consistency in that right-wing position, assuming he can stay fit.
