Mourinho eyes moves for Chelsea’s world class playmaker

Jose Mourinho has already made some brilliant signings for Manchester United during this transfer window, but it is clear the self-proclaimed Special One isn’t done yet. Today’s reports in the media are linking the club with a move for Cesc Fabregas.

The news comes from the Daily Mirror, who say that Manchester United are ready to bring in the Spanish midfielder, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by new manager, Antonio Conte.

Fabregas, now 29, is one of the best midfielders in the country on his day, and really shone under Jose Mourinho a couple of seasons ago.

The pair have a brilliant working relationship when things are going well, and although Cesc isn’t getting any younger, it’d be brilliant to see him trot out in the red of Manchester United.

You’d imagine that Chelsea wouldn’t be wholly interested in selling one of their best players to another Premier League club, and they’d much prefer to ship Fabregas abroad.
