Mourinho launches scathing attack on key Man United man following Saints draw

Look, I think it’s abundantly clear that Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba were never going to be best buddies following their bust-up earlier on in the campaign, but it seems as though the relationship has reached an all-time low.

In an exclusive, The Telegraph claims that in the dressing room, the self-proclaimed Special One labelled Pogba a ‘virus’, before adding that the Frenchman showed a complete lack of respect to the fans and his teammates…

Now, I know that Pogba struggled massively against Southampton, in fact, it has been a while since I’ve seen a performance that bad, but calling him out in front of the whole squad just isn’t going to work.

To say that he’s a virus, making everyone around him infected so to speak, is pretty damning. Now, this will go one of two ways. Either Pogba and Mourinho will fall out and the dressing room will turn against the manager, or United will stick together and come through this as a better ‘team’ so to speak.

Personally, though, I feel as though it’s only a matter of time before Mourinho loses his job. The team just aren’t playing for him at the moment, and it’s showing. Top four is miles away at this point, nevermind challenging for the title…
