Manchester United return to action tomorrow, after a two-week break due to the international period. It’s great to have the Red Devils back, and nothing beats a good-old 3 o’clock kick-off on a Saturday.
Jose Mourinho has been sweating on the fitness of several players, but one who is back fit and ready to go is Diogo Dalot. Now, The Sun says that the self-proclaimed Special One is set to make a bold decision; by handing the 19-year-old his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.
Since we saw a glimpse of Dalot’s capabilities, United fans have been pining for the young right-back to play on a regular basis. Now, that opportunity is set to come his way.
Dalot is tall, physical, quick and exceptionally talented. For me, the most important thing is that he’s a natural right-back. Hopefully, he bombs up and down the field all game and puts in a good display.
It’s vital that the teenager gets off on the right foot, and although it will be a tough assignment for Dalot, as Wilfried Zaha, Andros Townsend and Jordan Ayew are all good players, I’m expecting to see a confident performance from the young man.
