Manchester United appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager last week, with the self-proclaimed Special One finally landing his dream job. Now the hard works begins, and he has already eyed several transfer targets.
The latest rumour comes from the Daily Star, who say that Mourinho has told Manchester United officials to do all they can to land £54million rated midfielder, Saul Niguez.
Atletico Madrid man Saul has recently turned 21, and signed a new contract at the Vicente Calderon worth a huge £80,000-a-week. One of the clauses in that contract is a release clause worth a huge £54million.
However Jose Mourinho sees him as a player who can transform Manchester United, and he’d fit in well with other youngsters like Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Memphis Depay.
He also offers versatility which is always a bonus, as he can play all across the midfield, as well as even on the left-hand side, or at centre-back if required.
