David Moyes was speaking to reporters ahead of what will be a busy couple of weeks for Manchester United. The Reds play at Old Trafford four times, in eleven days, across three competitions, and David Moyes has confirmed that the squad is currently carrying a few knocks.
The Scot said:
“It’s always a concern, especially when you have so many players are away like we do. I’ll monitor training today one or two are nursing [injuries] so we’ll need to look at it but hopefully they will be okay.”
I suspect one of those are Tom Cleverley who is suffering from a calf problem, and the other could be Rio Ferdinand who has recently had a groin issue.
David Moyes also confirmed that Adnan Januzaj won’t feature week-in week-out due to having a big enough squad that allows him to regularly rotate his young stars.
