Moyes promises Kagawa more playing time

Since making the £12million move from Dortmund to Manchester United, Shinji Kagawa has often struggled for form and minutes on the pitch. However there is still hope for our Japanese playmaker, with David Moyes admitting that Shinji will feature a lot more from now until the end of the season.

He probably didn’t start against WBA today due to the huge distances he travelled because of international duty, but recent performances for both club and country suggest that he is up for a fight rather than throwing in the towel.

There is no doubting that when used correctly, Kagawa is one of the best #10s in the world and can have a massive impact at United. I just hope he gets his chance, and he takes it.

“We have competition for places with Adnan and Mata, but Shinji will play a lot more from now until the end of the season.” David Moyes said.

Adnan Januzaj has been on the periphery of things in recent weeks, and that’ll probably continue for the next few weeks because he’s still only very young. Hopefully the gaffer will continue to use a narrow three in-behind the striker as it has worked perfectly in our last two league games against Crystal Palace and West Brom.

  1. It is ‘just’ reward for Kagawa, he has kept his dignity and shown a desire to fit in with MU. After winning player of the year for two years in Germany he could have reacted like a prima dona (we have one already) and spat out his dummy but didn’t and all credit to him. I hope he can take the chance to bed in with the team and become a real favorite at OT.

  2. Please note Mr Moyes your inclusion of Kagawa for the last 15 min and moving Rooney wider seemed to produce a far smoother attacking force.
Rooney for all his attributes is NOT our best CAM.
