David de Gea – Had a pretty quiet afternoon in truth. Dealt with what came his way well though. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Defended with diligence and made some really important tackles. Tried to get forward wherever possible. His energy and desire was key. 7/10

Raphael Varane – Put his body on the line on numerous occasions. Made some big tackles and won some key headers. Excellent. 8/10

Harry Maguire – Had a super game, particularly in the first half. Made some crunching tackles that really set the tone and got the crowd going. 7/10

Alex Telles – Nullified the threat of Bowen and defended well. His final ball left plenty to be desired, though. 6/10

Scott McTominay – Was locked in a gruelling battle with Declan Rice throughout. Had a decent game. 5/10

Fred – Had a decent chance to put United in front and probably should have done better. He was effective on the whole, though. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Typically hit and miss. Was pretty poor in possession in some moments, but often was the heartbeat of our attack. 5/10

Mason Greenwood – Drifted in and out of the match and was wasteful in possession on more than one occasion. 5/10

Anthony Elanga – Energetic and tried to make things happen, but had a quieter game than in his last two starts. 5/10

Cristiano Ronaldo – Had a couple of half-chances but that’s about it. Visibly frustrated when not given a penalty. 5/10


Marcus Rashford – Scored the all-important winner deep into injury time.

Edinson Cavani – Worked hard and provided the assist.

Anthony Martial – Looked sharp.
