MUFC Player Ratings during 1-1 draw vs Leicester City

David de Gea – Made an outrageous save late on to keep United in the game. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Pretty steady in defence. I’d still like to see more quality in the attacking third, though. 5/10

Raphael Varane – Had a mixed game. Was involved in some nervy moments including a Maddison disallowed goal. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Had great support from the crowd and played with confidence. Won some key headers. Defended well. 6/10

Luke Shaw – Had to be subbed off at half-time with injury, but looked a little off the pace throughout. 4/10

Scott McTominay – A non-factor. It was a poor game by his standards and he just didn’t get into it. 3/10

Fred – Covered every blade of grass as per usual. Worked hard and looked decent in possession. United’s best midfielder. 5/10

Paul Pogba – Just bad. Didn’t dictate and control the game like we’d have liked. 4/10

Jadon Sancho – Not his finest performance. Just didn’t get into many threatening positions. 4/10

Anthony Elanga – Looked bright in the first half but faded in the second. Got in Rashford’s way late on to deny a clear chance. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Started as a false nine and it just didn’t work. 4/10

Subs:

Alex Telles – A step sideways from Shaw. Not great.

Nemanja Matic – Brought some control back to the midfield.

Marcus Rashford – Tried to make things happen.
