David de Gea – Made a couple of half-decent saves but wasn’t really tested too much. Couldn’t do anything about the goal. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Hit and miss. He’s always a willing runner but the on-ball quality was bad, as was his defensive positioning from time to time. 5/10
Raphael Varane – Cruised through the game despite having a low-confidence player alongside him. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Shaky again. Had troubles dealing with both Adams and Broja. Could’ve also given away a penalty. 4/10
Luke shaw – Quiet. Tried to bomb forward wherever possible but to no avail. 5/10
Scott McTominay – An early booking meant he couldn’t be his usual, physical self but he was still ok. 5/10
Paul Pogba – Looked pretty good again. Sprayed balls all over the field and used his strength well. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – Wasted some half-decent opportunities but also created some chances through his class. A mixed afternoon. 5/10
Marcus Rashford – Picked up an assist for the goal but made the wrong decision on more than one occasion when United were in a good position. 5/10
Jadon Sancho – Definitely the best player wearing a red shirt today. Looked a constant threat throughout and more than deserved his goal. 7/10
Cristiano Ronaldo – Just awful. Comfortably the worst player on the pitch. Missed a great chance early on and didn’t lead the line well. 3/10
