David de Gea – A fairly quiet evening for the Spaniard who wasn’t really tested. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Played another good game. Decent with the ball at feet. Always tried to get forward. 6/10

Raphael Varane – Nice to see him back out there. Continues to cruise through games. So good. 7/10

Luke Shaw – Filled in at centre-back and did a decent job. Was rarely troubled. His pace was an asset. 7/10

Tyrell Malacia – Good enough. Defended with physicality. Did his job and protected his flank. 5/10

Casemiro – Comfortably the best player on the pitch. The Brazil international broke up play numerous times and got United moving in the right direction again. Class. 9/10

Christian Eriksen – Kept finding nice little pockets of space. Consistently caused problems for the Forest midfield. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – His usual, busy self on both sides of the ball. Led the press and always tried to make things happen. 6/10

Antony – Quiet throughout. Careless with the ball at times. Not his finest outing. 3/10

Anthony Martial – Scored the second goal. Led the line well. Held up the ball nicely. 7/10
