MUFC Player Ratings during 3-0 win vs Spurs (Premier League away, 2021/22)

David de Gea – Had a quiet evening, in truth. Hardly tested by Spurs’ front men. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Excellent on both sides of the ball. Made some top tackles and got forward at every opportunity. 7/10

Victor Lindelof – Looked calm and composed throughout. Dealt with everything down his channel. 6/10

Raphael Varane – Sat in the middle of our defence and did a stellar job. Put his head on everything. 7/10

Harry Maguire – Won some important one-on-one battles. His best outing in ages. 6/10

Luke Shaw – Wasn’t put off by the early booking and looked pretty stern defensively. Didn’t get forward as much as we’d have liked. 5/10

Scott McTominay – The standout midfielder. He dominated single-handedly, marauded forward and did the dirty work. 8/10

Fred – Had a good first half but faded as the game wore on. Got caught in possession on more than one occasion. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – Was quiet for large periods but his ball into Ronaldo for the opener was absolutely sublime. 6/10

Edinson Cavani – Nice to see him back in the starting line-up, and with a goal too. He worked his socks off, typically. 7/10

Cristiano Ronaldo – Scored an outrageous first to send United on their way. Led from the front. 7/10

Subs:

Marcus Rashford – Wrapped up the three points with a lovely finish.

Nemanja Matic – Came on to secure the result.

Jesse Lingard – Lively.
