Aaron Wan-Bissaka – His worst display in a United shirt? Possibly. Couldn’t deal with the far-post cross. 2/10
Victor Lindelof – Had a decent second 45 minutes, but was under constant pressure in the first half. It’s just not good enough. 4/10
Harry Maguire – Made some vital blocks in the first half, but that sending off was just shocking. He definitely didn’t put in a captain’s performance. 2/10
Luke Shaw – United’s best defender on the day, but it was far from a good performance. 5/10
Scott McTominay – Conceded a penalty and picked up an early booking. He honestly didn’t look fully fit. 3/10
Nemanja Matic – Sloppy in possession. Brought into the side in place of Fred and definitely didn’t bring the energy. 4/10
Bruno Fernandes – Didn’t influence the game at all. His passing was poor and he didn’t look interested throughout. 2/10
Jadon Sancho – He was ok. Involved in Van de Beek’s goal and looked like United’s biggest threat in an attacking capacity. 5/10
Marcus Rashford – Played a half. Worked Foster in the Watford goal once. 4/10
Cristiano Ronaldo – Asissted Van de Beek with a moment of genius but missed a glorious opportunity to level up the score. 5/10
