MUFC Player Ratings vs Crystal Palace during 1-0 loss

David de Gea – Made a few decent saves, particularly in the first 45 minutes. Couldn’t do anything about the goal. A pretty standard display. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Struggled throughout. Poor defensively, particularly against Wilf Zaha. Just doesn’t look comfortable at this level. 3/10

Victor Lindelof – Just not good enough. Looked shaky and feeble for the most part. Just not good enough to start in a side with trophy aspirations. 4/10

Harry Maguire – Nice to see him back out there. Had a slightly better afternoon than his partner. 5/10

Alex Telles – Not great. Erik ten Hag didn’t look impressed with his performance, either… 4/10

Scott McTominay – His mixed season ended on a poor note. He didn’t win the midfield battle and missed a glorious chance from a header. 4/10

Fred – Hasn’t started in well over a month and it showed. Was overly aggressive on occasion but never really affected the game. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – His misplaced pass led to the sole goal of the game. Just so poor on the ball. 4/10

Anthony Elanga – Looked lively on occasion, but really struggled to keep possession. Had one or two half chances. 5/10

Hannibal Mejbri – Worked hard and brought some desire to the pitch. Tried to make things happen but it didn’t really come off. 5/10

Edinson Cavani – Led the line fairly well during his farewell appearance. 5/10

Subs:

Juan Mata – Nice to see him one last time.

Shola Shoretire – His first senior appearance of the campaign

Alejandro Garnacho – Not enough time to mark.

Thankfully, our season is over now. Onto 2022/23!
