With Marcus Rashford now fit again, we’ve decided to look at how the Englishman can fit into our starting line-up.
Manchester United are now on a two-week hiatus due to international football. Obviously, for our players it’s always an honour to represent their respective countries. However, for us United fans, it’s nothing but an annoyance.
After the international break is over, it’s expected that Marcus Rashford will be back fit and available for selection. The Englishman featured in a behind-closed-doors game against Blackburn Rovers yesterday – and scored twice.
No doubt after a few substitute appearances, Rashford will be straight back into the side as he’s a player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer trusts endlessly. With that in mind, we’ve decided to look at our best possible team with the return of Rashy.
Check out our best possible MUFC starting XI in full here:
In goal we have David de Gea, who looks like a player back to his brilliant best.
The back four is pretty self explanatory. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, while Luke Shaw plays on the left-hand side of our defence. Harry Maguire starts and captain’s the team, with Raphael Varane partnering him at the heart of our defence.
Scott McTominay sits at the base of midfield, with Bruno Fernandes also playing. You’ll notice Paul Pogba has moved back into a more familiar central midfield role.
Cristiano Ronaldo obviously leads the line here, with Mason Greenwood on his right-hand side. I’ve gone for Marcus Rashford on the left-wing.
This is a super strong starting line-up, with our bench also looking much healthier these days too. The likes of Edinson Cavani, Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all on there. Factor in Alex Telles, Fred and Victor Lindelof and suddenly we’ve got ourselves a top squad.
