With Antony close and Casemiro now here, it’s time to take a look at Man United’s new best XI…
Slowly but surely, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United squad is starting to take shape.
The Old Trafford club have made hard work of the summer transfer window, though deals are now getting done.
It’s a long, gruelling campaign, though after winning their last two fixtures, the outlook is far more positive for United. Suddenly, the squad is feeling like one that fits Ten Hag’s style.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to draw up the best line-up we can. This is assuming everyone is fit and available to play, so obviously, injuries will change things over the course of the campaign.
Anyway, let’s get right into it…
Check out Man United’s best XI after the additions of both Casemiro and Antony:
A deal for Martin Dubravka may well be close, but for now, David de Gea gets to keep that starting job. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if that changes over the course of the campaign…
Diogo Dalot is the best right-back currently at the club. I don’t think he’s elite by any means, but he does have some positives. He was good against Southampton on Saturday, so he deserves this spot. Tyrell Malacia is absolutely the best man for the job over on the left. Lisandro Martinez has seriously stepped up his game over the last couple of matches, with the Argentine looking right at home next to Raphael Varane.
Casemiro is yet to start a game for the Old Trafford club, though you can see that he’s got that aura about him. No doubt he’s going to be a huge plus for United. Christian Eriksen brings experience, an on-ball quality and work ethic to the table, while Bruno Fernandes’ goals and assists make him undroppable at this point in time.
Anthony Martial is absolutely the best man to lead the line right now, while Jadon Sancho should get the nod over Marcus Rashford given the form of the latter. Antony will join this week. He will immediately become United’s best option on the right wing.

I can’t wait to seeing Antoney come to the Theater of dreams. He has demostrated that he loves Man U dearly, he pushed really hard to join us.
We still need to add 3 to 4 new players to replace the alredy left players and a few that will still leave. I believe we’re good to go, even though we left it too late. We can compete with the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Chesea etc.
