AC Milan have shown an interest in Manchester United’s hit-and-miss winger Nani, according to the Express. The Old Trafford side are after £11million for the Portugal international, but Milan have laughed off that fee and will wait until United lower their asking price.
Nani, 27, had a poor season last year. He spent long periods out injured and when he did play he made little or no impact on the game itself. Many were shocked when the winger signed a new five-year Manchester United contract last summer, and now it looks as though it was done purely so United could get a decent fee for him.
Louis van Gaal is set to give him one last chance on the clubs pre-season tour, but if he doesn’t impress the new gaffer then he could find himself at a new club before the season starts.
