Manchester United Football Club are in a commanding position in their Europa League group. Tomorrow, the Red Devils have the chance to top it if they avoid defeat against AZ Alkmaar.
The Europa League is often a chance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to chop and change his squad – thus giving the more senior players a rest before the hectic winter schedule. I’d imagine that it’ll be no different this Thursday.
Before the game, United have been handed an injury boost as midfielder Nemanja Matic is now fit again. According to the BBC’s live blog (10:08am), it is being claimed he’ll be ‘involved’ against AZ Alkmaar tomorrow.

Matic has missed the last month or so with injury, which unfortunately coincided with Scott McTominay’s absence. To have such an experienced campaigner back can only be a good thing.
I think it’s fair to say that the Serb’s form has dipped somewhat over the last year or so, but he’s a seasoned professional who’ll prove to be a vitally important squad member between now and the season’s end.
The BBC also adds that the game will come just too soon for Diogo Dalot, who is also now back in training.
