Noam Emeran signs new Man United contract until 2024

Man United have given young forward, Noam Emeran, a new contract until 2024.

Old Trafford has played host to some of the finest players on the planet this season, though it’s fair to say results have been nothing but a disaster.

The pride of this club has been the U23 and U18 teams. These lads are flying the flag high, with an FA Youth Cup final just on the horizon.

It makes sense then, that United hand new deals to these starlets who are continually impressing. Not too long ago, we got wind of a contract in the offing for Noam Emeran.

Now, the club have officially confirmed that news, with the 19-year-old young starlet penning a new deal until 2024, with the option for a further year.

The official club website stated this is a ‘reward for the development’ of Emeran as a player, who has become a mainstay within the U23 setup at Old Trafford.

The left-winger was signed for United from Amiens back in 2019, with this deal his second professional contract during his young career. The fact that United have handed Emeran what is practically a three-year deal shows that the club have great faith in the Frenchman as a player.

Now it’s about deciding on that next step. Emeran’s future as a Red Devil is secure, so the player can focus solely on his football. Does United want to get a look at Emeran during pre-season tour? Or will he play his football out on loan in the 2022/23 season? Either route seems positive.

I guess it’s down to Erik ten Hag and how highly he values Emeran. Who knows, if United don’t sign a winger this summer, there’s every chance he could get given an opportunity as we’re suddenly looking pretty thin in the final third of the field.

Congratulations, Noam!
