Palace want £45m+£5m for Wan-Bissaka, player wants Man United move: report

In today’s edition of the Aaron Wan-Bissaka daily, Manchester United have been given an encouraging update, per the Daily Mail.

Their report claims that the Reds will have to up their offer to £45million plus £5million in add-ons to land the 21-year-old – as Crystal Palace continue to dig their heels in and not let their right-back leave on the cheap.

This story falls somewhat in line with Sky Sports News’ latest claim that we covered last night. Sky says £50million straight up should get the deal done, so now we have an idea in regards to how much it’s going to take to sign Wan-Bissaka.

The Mail state that United’s opening offer of £35million + £15million was snubbed, with Palace wanting more cash up front.

Apparently, Wan-Bissaka wants to ‘seize the opportunity’ to move to Old Trafford during this window, while his current club won’t stand in his way – presuming the right offer comes in.

The player is currently with England’s U21 squad as they gear up for the European Championships this summer, but United and Palace will continue talks in an effort to reach common ground.

United should just up their offer to meet Palace’s demands and get this deal done as soon as possible. The clubs are gradually nearing each-other’s valuation but the Reds are desperate for a new right-back. Just get the deal done and move on to other targets as quickly as possible, as it seems as though Crystal Palace aren’t ready to go much lower than £50million.
