Paper Round-Up: Morata update, Lindelof issues & United lead Fabinho chase

The eagerly anticipated summer transfer window is here. Manchester United won two of four major pieces of silverware on offer under Jose Mourinho in his debut season, but, our the Red Devils’ form in the Premier League simply has to improve.

That probably means we will see new faces join the club as the window progresses, and every day we’re getting plenty of fresh updates in regards to lots of potential deals.

Today’s column offers a positive update in regards to our pursuit of Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, although it looks like Mourinho will have to up his bid.

There is also news of a possible Victor Lindelof deal, with the gaffer chasing some sort of defender to bolster his options – which is essential due to our participation in the Champions League.
